The tea-growing regions that can pluck medals at the Rio 2016 Olympics

 

These countries are top of the table when it comes to tea production, but what should you expect when it comes to Olympic medal prospects at the Rio games later this month? You might be in for a surprise or two. Get in the spirit tea lovers, choose a tea-team or two to cheer for.

The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be held on the 5th to 21st August 2016. Also known as Games of the XXXI Olympiad or simply Rio 2016, the international multi-sport event will be joined by over 10,500 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs). The athletes will compete for 306 sets of medals in 28 Olympic sports.
